OUR MISSION
LAKAY is a non-profit organization whose objective is to promote multiculturalism. It also aims to raise awareness and motivate the multiethnic population on issues facing Canadian and Quebec society. Over the past 10 years, Lakay has organized festivals, conferences, election debates, a carnival, and a television program.

Over the next three (3) years, Lakay will serve as a leader in the fight against racial profiling and will position itself as an anchor for the defense of citizens' rights.

Activities on intercultural themes that engage the community

People who experience racial profiling and bringing these people together to help them overcome their isolation and empower them to defend their rights

And to increase the number of actors who are mobilizing around the intercultural issues of racialized communities in the MRC de l'Assomption

And to participate in discussions on multiculturalism, diversity, racism and discrimination
