Where does your donation go?
LAKAY is a community organization in Repentigny. Each contribution directly supports four aspects of our work:
- Support for victims of racial profiling — support, information on rights and referral to appropriate remedies.
- The "My Pen Against Racism and Racial Profiling" competition« — scholarships for secondary school students, awards ceremony and educational tools for teachers.
- Intercultural activities — Black History Month, conferences, carnival and gatherings that bring together the communities of Lanaudière.
- Research and documentation — collection of evidence on racial profiling and publication of reports, such as the one produced with the Profiling Observatory.
