In a world of resentment<\/p>\n

Some are afraid<\/p>\n

To move around, to live, constantly on edge<\/p>\n

She is part of it<\/p>\n

This young girl<\/p>\n

She constantly shrinks back, viewing everyone else with antipathy.<\/p>\n

I see her<\/p>\n

She suppresses her voice<\/p>\n

Out of fear of criticism<\/p>\n

Caused by her genetics<\/p>\n

Born different<\/p>\n

Despite her stunning beauty, they only see her skin, her face<\/p>\n

They stare at her constantly.<\/p>\n

Alone in this world of hate<\/p>\n

Alone in her grief, week after week<\/p>\n

She remains a human being<\/p>\n

All of this was devastating her<\/p>\n
